Obituary of Charles I. Richard

AUBURN — Charles I. Richard, 78, of Lisbon, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, at Clover Health Care in Auburn, following a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's. He was born in Rumford on March 26, 1937, son of Charles and Edith (Legere) Richard. Charles graduated from Stephen's High School, Class of 1955, and served in the Air Force from 1955 until 1959. He worked at Campus Cuisine until retirement. He loved working in the yard, flowers, cooking, music, reading and his favorite pet, Princess. Surviving are a sister, Lita Glazier of Lisbon; a brother, Allen Richard of Connecticut; many nieces and nephews; and long-term friend, Jerry Martel. He was predeceased by his parents; three sisters, Yvonne Deraspe,Viola Chiasson, Dorilla Richard; and a brother, Michael Richard.
