Obituary of Margaret Elizabeth Page
Margaret E. Page, aged 69, a long-time resident of Lincolnville, Maine, passed away at her home, surrounded by family and friends on July 20th, 2015.
She was born on August 28th, 1945 in Portland, Maine. The first of five sisters, Margaret was a graduate of Cathedral High School in Springfield, Massachusetts. She held a B.S. degree from Emmanuel College in Boston, MA as well as a M.A. degree and a CAGS from the University of Maine. Margaret worked for nearly 40 years as an educator and counselor for the Camden-Rockport school system. She was an active member of the community and worked as a Hospice volunteer for several years.
Margaret is predeceased by her parents Margaret Coffey Page and John D. Page of Springfield, MA. She is survived by her loving sons Bill and John Talbot, her grandson John A. Talbot as well as her sisters, Bertha P. Greeley, Kathleen Page, Mary Page Hess and Virginia Page Westlund as well as many Coffey and Page cousins.
A memorial for Margaret will be held Saturday, August 1st at 1pm in Lincolnville Center, Maine at the United Christian Church. Rev. Dr. Susan Stonestreet and Deacon Abby Pettee will be officiating.
