Obituary of Kenneth Foster Ireland
Kenneth Foster Ireland, 87, of Palermo went home to be with the lord at the Maine Veterans Home on Monday July 20, 2015. He was born in Westbrook, Maine on May 20, 1928 to John and Lena Ireland. Kenneth was a member of the Palermo Christian Church. He was also a 32nd Mason, an Ambassador of Kora Temple Shrine of Mid Coast, a member of Clinton Masonic Lodge, a lifelong pilot, an avid coin collector and a lifelong fisherman.
He was predeceased by his parents Lena and John Ireland and his son-in-law Robert Silvius Sr.
He is survived by his loving wife; Judith Ann, Children; Linda Brown (Dennis) Illinois, Ann Silvius, (Robert deceased) Iowa Kenneth F. Ireland, Jr. (Gina) Alabama Wayne Ireland (Susan) Maine; Stepdaughter Wendy McCaslin (John) Maine, Grandchildren; LeAnn Skarupa (Will) Jarrett Brown (Susie) Robert Silvius, Jr. (Karla) Michael Silvius, (Cher) Karen Waddell (Martin), Daniel Ireland, Nicholas Ireland (Keri), Kenneth Ireland III (Setera), Tony Ireland (Theresa), Jeffrey Ireland (Brandy), Vanessa Hamilton, Amber McCaslin.
The family would like to thank the Maine Veterans Home employees of Company A for the excellent care that they gave Kenneth.
Graveside Service will be on Monday, August 3, 2015 1:00 pm at the Maplewood Cemetery, Fairfield, ME., with a reception to follow at the VFW Hall on Main Street Fairfield, ME
