Obituary of Joyce Elizabeth Nemeth

Washington — Joyce E. Nemeth, 83, passed peacefully surrounded by her family at Washington Manor Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015. Born in Rockland, she was one of eight children born to Hyman and Doris Lunt. Joyce devoted most of her time to raising her two children. While life for her was not always painless, she did have happy moments with her family and friends. Her smile was contagious and would light up a room. She enjoyed attending the First Baptist Church of Rockland, of which she was a member. Joyce was predeceased by her mom and dad, her brothers Alton Drinkwater and Richard Lunt, sisters Alice Sanborn and Dorothy Blake. She is survived by her brother, Royce Lunt, and sister, Jean Curtis; her son, Donald Curtis and his wife, Patricia Curtis; her daughter, Debra Curtis, and her husband, Raymond Ytuarte; grandchildren Jason and Devin Sardilli; and her four beautiful great-granddaughters, Isabella, Lilliana, Alessia and Lucia. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the wonderful care and patience that Washington Manor and all its staff bestowed upon their mom, Hospice Care and her special caring friend, Chris, of Full Circle.
