Obituary of Alexander Michael Small

RICHMOND - Alexander Michael Small passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015. He was born on March 28, 1994, in Wareham, Mass., to Cathy Ann Spaulding Small and Mark Mathew Small. Alexander attended Bath schools and graduated from Morse High School in 2012. Alex enjoyed sports and was an excellent athlete. Little League, soccer, basketball. He excelled at Lacrosse as a goalie for Morse. Alex was an exceptional outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family. Photography had become another recent passion. He had an exceptional eye and his talent was evident. Alex's passion for riding motorcycles started at the age of eight, riding dirt bikes, and evolved into a love for street bikes. He enjoyed going for long rides, exploring the back country roads of Maine with his brother. Alex loved spending time with his recently adopted hound dog Roy. Alex had become quite a good cook, working at the Railway Café in Richmond, SeaDog Brewery in Topsham and most recently, Gary's Quick Stop in Richmond. Alex created a signature sandwich that will be added to their new menu in his honor. He had planned to attend SMCC this spring to begin a career in HVAC. Alex enjoyed many family vacations that included ski trips, Disney, Outer Banks of North Carolina, and a recent trip with his mother to a new family camp. Alex was funny, kind, sweet and had an infectious smile! Always happy, cheerful and positive. A polite gentleman, well spoken and well mannered. He made us all so proud.
