Obituary of Robert J. Durran

MORRILL ROBERT J. DURRAN, 74 of Morrill, passed away on October 26, 2015 in Belfast. Bob was born in Framingham, MA where he attended Framingham High School. He served his country in the U.S. Army and later worked as a police officer in Southborough, MA. Bob loved many things such as drag racing, golfing, antiquing and traveling. He is survived by his girlfriend Jennifer; his four adult children Sean, Keith, Colleen and Brian as well as five grandchildren and one great grandchild, Amanda, Anthony, Casey, Tyler, Julia and Charlotte. He also leaves behind his former wife Maureen and two sisters Charlene and Sharon as well as many friends and family. He was a kind soul with an infectious smile, a dependable friend. He taught without knowing and was willing to listen. He was a fighter and a protector. He was a man who loved his children when we were good and when we were bad. He was the man we called Dad. He will be forever missed. R.I.P. Bob – we love you. Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Morrill Baptist Church with a private interment at Morrill Village Cemetery.
