Obituary of Roberta Johnson

Roberta Johnson, born May 13th 1935, a resident of Concord, New Hampshire went to be with her Lord on Nov. 14, 2015 at Maine General Rehab & Nursing At Glenridge in Augusta, Maine. She was the daughter of Arthur and Vina Gleichauf born in Norwood, MA. She was the youngest of seven siblings and the twin of Robert Gleichauf. Roberta graduated from Norwood High School and moved to Pittsfield, Maine in the early 50’s where she settled and raised her three children, Allan, Jeff and Doug. She relocated to Concord, New Hampshire about 20 years ago and was a member of the Boscawen Congregational Church in Boscawen, NH. Roberta enjoyed spending time and staying in touch with her many dear friends and family. She was a very selfless, forgiving, loyal and loving wife, mother and friend. Roberta was a big dog lover all her life. She was a great cook and baker. Her favorite past times were playing beano, cribbage, cards, and crocheting. She liked gardening, reading and was a great bowler in her younger years. She enjoyed helping others cooking for Meals on Wheels and church suppers. She is greatly missed by her sister Elizabeth, sons Allan, Jeff and Doug along with 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Friends are invited for a time for a short memorial service at the NH State Veterans Cemetery fellowship at 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH 03303 on Friday December 4, 2015 at 1:00pm. After the service there will be a Celebration of Roberta’s life at the Boscawen Congregational Church, United Church of Christ at 12 High Street Boscawen, New Hampshire 03303.
