Obituary of Mildred Gibson

TOPSHAM – Mildred “Milly” Gibson, 76, was born in Warren, Pennsylvania to Sylvester and JoEllen Frontera on July 3, 1939. She graduated from Union City High School (PA) in 1957. On June 4, 1960 she married her husband, Bob. They were married for 55 years. She devoted her life to homemaking and raising her two sons. She enjoyed her volunteer service of teaching others about the Bible and was a member of the local congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Brunswick, Maine. Milly loved to cook, sew, garden, and always had various household projects awaiting her. Milly was predeceased by both of her parents, her siblings Nina and John Frontera and nephews Toby and Daniel Frontera. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert L. Gibson, sons Loren and Gregory Gibson, brother David Frontera and sister Sally Frontera and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend their gratitude for all the love and support provided by her friends and also the staff of Midcoast Hospital. The Memorial Service will be Saturday, December 12th at 2pm at the Kingdom Hall, 22 Water St, Brunswick. The family will receive friends at 1:30pm and after the service.
