Ernest J. Plourde Jr., 76 of Eagle Lake, passed away November 5, 2019. Ernest was born on January 7, 1943 in Eagle Lake to the late Ernest Plourde and Laura (Madore) Plourde.
He was a foreman at Pinkham Lumber Mill for 23 years and worked as a Road Commissioner in Woodland. Ernest enjoyed hunting, ski-doing, and brook fishing. He was a devoted husband and family man and will be dearly missed by many.
Ernest was predeceased by his parents; his daughter Susan Ceccehitele; his brothers Edford, Eddie, Camille, Guilford (Pete), Roland and Leo; his sisters, Laura Ann and Phoebe-Annette and his grandchildren, Jarred Michael and Stephan Frank. Surviving are his loving wife of 57 years, Judy Plourde; his children Vaughn Plourde and his wife Linda and Allen Plourde; his grandchildren Nicole, Savannah and Megan; his siblings Alfred Plourde, Eva Post, Edna Saucier and Alice Martin and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Eagle Lake.
