Obituary of Kenneth Beaulieu

Ken Beaulieu was not only a loving father and grandfather, he was a wonderful son, brother, nephew, uncle and husband. His sudden passing on August 23rd, 2019 has shocked and saddened all who knew him. Ken was born February 1st, 1962. He grew up in New Brunswick, Canada. He later moved to the States and after some traveling, he eventually settled in Maine. He spent 14 years working for Bath Iron Works and made his way up to a supervisor in the paint department. Throughout his life he enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, shooting pool, spending time with family and time on Popham Beach. In recent years, Ken has dealt with illness with a quiet dignity that brought nothing but respect from family and friends. During this time, he has dedicated his time to his wife, Patty, his children, Jena and Brittany, and to his granddaughters, Isabella and Sofia. He enjoyed spending time at home having fires, playing dice, and being surrounded by loved ones and friends. Ken had a shorter than average life expectancy. He surpassed that and made it to see 57, living on his own terms and making the most out of those years. We will forever miss him and cherish the many warm memories we share with him. There will be a celebration of life for Ken on Sunday, September 15th from 1-5pm at the American Legion post 21 in Bath, Maine.
