Obituary of Linda S. Burgess

Linda D. Burgess lost her long battle with cancer in Rockport on May 5th. She was just 64 years old. She is predeceased by her husband of 30 years Keith Burgess and mother Joan Dostie. She is survived by sons Benjamin and Justin as well as Justin’s wife Danielle and their sons Evan and Noah. Linda’s positive impact on those around her is hard to overstate. She never had a bad word to say about anyone and saw the good in everyone. She worked very hard her entire life and was always focused on providing for her family and their future and she always put others first. Her work ethic also extended to her passion for gardening. She had a beautiful home she and Keith built together as a young couple and it was her favorite place to be. In the surrounding gardens, she found great joy and peace and it shows. Her uncanny connection to nature is reflected in her gardens and they are remarkable. Linda really was the best mother, daughter, sister, and friend anyone could ever hope for. She was taken from this world far too soon and will be missed more than words can ever say. We loved her so much and her impact on this world will never be forgotten.
