I apologize for posting this so long after Robert's passing, but I've only recently found out that he'd passed. Robert was my father's good friend and they'd worked together for a time in the late 70's. I have wonderful memories of spending time with Robert at our farm in Chelsea during summer vacations and when he and his first wife, Gloria and his daughters Laurie and Dawna would visit on the weekends. Robert was always so very kind to me when I was a boy, telling me funny jokes and playing fun pranks on me. Robert and I spent many hours together working horses and just talking. I didn't get to see Robert as often as I grew older and our lives took different paths. I would occasionally see Robert at a fair or run into him at a store. I was always glad to see him. I have nothing but very fond memories of Robert Noyes. He will always be a wonderful reminder of that time in my young life and I will always appreciate how kind and patient he was with a curious and mischievous young boy. I hope his family will accept my most sincere condolences.
