I am very sad to learn of Phil's passing. I met Phil at the Unity Church in Portland, Maine and our desire to understanding our place in this world, lead to a friendship outside of the church. My wife, Amy, Phil and I, even ventured to New York City to hear the teachings of Eric Butterworth at Lincoln Center. What I remember most about that trip was when we walked across Broadway and Phil reflecting on the significance of touching such a famous place. Phil was such a good friend and I regret loosing touch with him during his final years. PhiI spoke so highly of his children, he always knew the latest news and shared it proudly.
