Obituary of Louella May Folsom

Louella May Folsom, age 80, past away on December 2nd, 2018, at the Harbor Hills Center in Belfast, ME. From her birth on March 28, 1938, she traveled all over the United States and was station for a short time at Ramstein AFB, Germany. She loved traveling, painting, playing games, and sometimes cooking. She was a stay at home mom for the first part of her life and then went back to school to get her accounting degree. From there, she held office manager jobs and worked for Farmers Insurance as a claim manager for many years. She lived in many places including Sacramento CA, Anchorage AK, Homestead FL, Portsmouth NH, Oakland ME, Liberty Hill TX, and finally Searsport, ME. She was close to her parents, Scott and Winifred Hackett of Pittsfield, ME. Louella is survived by her three children. Bert Folsom, who stayed with her, supported her for many of her last years and still resides in Maine, a daughter, Kathie Folsom, of Bowling Green, Kentucky and another son, Herb Folsom, of Kyle, Texas. Louella loved Maine Lobster and a good Oyster stew! Her final wish was to be buried next to her son, Kenneth who passed in 1972, and her Mother, Winifred Hackett. Her final resting place will be at the Pittsfield Village Cemetary.
