Obituary of Derene Audrey Pooler

Derene Audrey Pooler, 81, passed away peacefully at Maine General Medical Center on November 13, 2018. She was born on February 28, 1932 in Waterville, the daughter of Harley and Bernice Hopkins. She worked in the health care field for many years as a nursing assistant. She was predeceased by her first husband, Lawrence D. Pooler, and her long-time friend, Edwin Bourgoin as well as her son Mark L. Pooler of Bangor. Surviving are her daughter Kim Marois and husband Ronald of China, Scott Pooler and wife Laurie of Vassalboro, Todd Pooler of Augusta as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
