Obituary of Richard F. Munro

Richard F. Munro Jr., 62, passed away peacefully at The Sussman House in Rockport, ME on September 29, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born October 29, 1955 to Richard F. Munro Sr. and Norma Dean Munro. He graduated from Rockland District High School in 1974. He worked for Fisher Engineering and for Knowlton Moving Company for many years which enabled him to travel the country which he loved. He stayed employed at Knowlton’s Moving until he retired to care for his mother until her passing in 2012. He got to attend Bike Week in Daytona, FL years back which was one of his lifelong dreams. He loved listening to classic rock music and building & flying wooden airplanes. He was predeceased by his parents and a niece Tara-Lynn Rahkonen. He is survived by his sisters Sharon Munro and her companion Adam Greenrose of Thomaston and Donna Erickson and her husband Steve of Rockland and many nieces and nephews. Rick will be dearly missed by his family that loved him so.
