Obituary of Norman E Langdon

Norman E. Langdon, 85, of Newcastle passed away July 29th from pancreatic cancer. He was the son of Francis Eustis and Eva Langdon of Connecticut; brother to Haven and Hazel. He attended Choate Rosemary Hall and Brown University before pursuing a career as a real estate developer in New Hampshire, Maine, and New Brunswick. He settled down late in life, was a cub scout leader in Lincoln County, and was employed at Damariscotta Hardware for many years. He was a quiet man—a reader, a dreamer, and a patriot who put the flag out each morning and harbored a passion for the coast of Maine. He was predeceased by his spouse, Mo, and his first wife, Catherine. Norman is survived by daughter Holly and son Ranger, many nieces and nephews, and a handful of close friends and acquaintances. His ashes were scattered by his son and daughter.
