Michael P. Lambertson 1949 - 2018 WAYNE, ME / BARE FOOT BAY, Fla. - Mike had his last road trip to to another world following a brief illness on May 17, 2017. He served in the US Army from 1969-1971, worked at Statler Tissue as an industrial painter then went on to own and operate M. Lambertson Painting, lnc. with his wife, Laurie. He also volunteered several years at Halo Pet Shelter working with cats. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Laurie, Furbaby Gracie; mother Pauline of Ft. He enjoyed N.H. brook fishing with his mom, hunting, hanging out by a campfire, ocean nonfishing with Florida friends, gardening, playing games, and get togethers with friends. He had a quirky sense of humor and right now is probably telling a joke about all that has happened. Mike and Laurie would like to especially thank Dr. G Emmons and oncology at Togus for all their help and care. Also thank you to Maine General Hospice for all the help, care and support. They were just the best. Also a special thanks to team Mike for all the food, rides, support and friendship. You all know who you are and how much everything meant. Also to the many others for any and all help, visits and friendship. He will live on in many memories. There will be two celebrations of life, one in Florida and one in Maine. Time, place and date to be announced. "I am glad I did not know how it would all end, I could have missed the pain but would have had to miss the dance" (G. Brooks) In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a local ( Florida or Maine) no kill shelter in his name
