Obituary of Jerry O Craw
Jerry O. Craw, born in Lewiston on May 12, 1940. He was the oldest of 13 kids born to Jesse and Anita Craw of New Auburn. Jerry joined the Navy at 17, and served in the Vietnam War. He went on to become an AKC Chief Petty Officer. After his 20 years in the Navy, he worked in the Silicone Valley at National Semiconductor as a Subsystems Programmer. Jerry loved anything electronic. He was very smart when it came to computers and would help family and friends anytime with theirs. Jerry loved to watch his shows. He would record series and binge watch his favorites, long before there was Netflix. What made Jerry most happy was his grandkids. From holding them when they were little, swimming with them, watching movies with them, he loved every minute, as did they. He had a great love for animals, especially dogs. He was a genuinely kind, sweet, and giving man, who will be missed by everyone who knew him.
