Obituary of Brian J Kelley

AUGUSTA – Brian J Kelley, 59, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones, January 3, 2018. Brian was a fun-loving, caring father and grandfather. Brian was an avid outdoorsman, fisherman and lifelong harness racing horseman. Brian trained and owned many horses throughout his life, passing his passion for horses down to his family. Brian enjoyed reading and watching sports, and was a diehard Seattle Seahawks fan. Brian’s biggest joy in life was watching his children and grandchildren grow and succeed, of this he was very proud. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family, and at the race track. Brian graduated from Lawrence High School, class of 1976. He is survived by his son, Brian J. Kelley II and wife Sherrie Kelley; his daughter Heather Kelley, his son Eric Kelley and partner Jennifer Klinge, his two grandsons Dylan Kelley and Timietheus Edwards, and three granddaughters Elexis Kelley, Sequora Kelley, and Abriana Kelley, and many dear friends. Brian was predeceased by his parents; Francis and Lanson Kelley, and his brother Gary Kelley. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life from 1-3 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018 at the American Legion, 213 Capital Street, Augusta.
