Obituary of James G. Vaillancourt

VAN BUREN - James G. Vaillancourt, age 72, son of Gilbert and Bernice (Dubois), died December 2, 2017. Attended Keegen School, St. Joseph's Seminary and College, St. Francis Xavier in Nova Scotia, US Navy Submarine Service, owned Gilbert's Auto Supply which he ran with Yolande. He loved helping the people he served. Survived by his wife Rachel of 48 years, son Scott wife Linda, daughter Kate husband Craig, grandchildren Aaron and Mychal Beaulieu, Madeleine, Genevieve and James Vaillancourt. Sister Helen husband Bill, Sister Phyllis husband Don, Brother Paul, predeceased by Sister Ruth. Very much enjoyed his loyal friends and Vaillancourt, Dubois and Parent clans. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Bruno's-St. Remi's Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 9, 2017. Family and Friends may visit at 9:30 a.m. before the mass at the church.
