Obituary of Earl Cullington
Earl “Jim” Cullington, 46, of Embden, passed away early in the morning on Saturday, September 30, 2017. He was born to Merle K. Rolfe and Deborah A. Heald-Rolfe on October 16, 1970 at Reddington-Fairview Hospital in Skowhegan. Jim was a military veteran of Desert Storm. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved his “toys”, motorcycle riding and big loud trucks. Jim also enjoyed his video games.
Jim was predeceased by grandparents Earl and Jeannette Heald; father Merle K. Rolfe; aunt Gloria J. Dickman and cousin Mike “Honka” Heald. He leaves behind his mother Deborah of North Anson, three children: Derek J. Griffin of Esslingen, Germany, James L.D. O’Clair and Jessica M. Cullington, both of Embden; best friend and mother of his children, Rachel M. Dwyer of Vinalhaven; brothers Chris Heald and Sgt. Robert Dickman, both of Madison; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at Williamson Cemetery, Norridgewock on October 15th at 11am. A potluck to follow at Kirk and Deborah Heald’s camp on Ironbound Pond in Solon.
