Obituary of Willard Herman Stuart

Willard (Will) Herman Stuart Sr. passed away at home on September 24, 2017 at the age of 75. Will was born in Calais, Maine on March 27, 1942. He owned several businesses throughout the years, including, Dover Transmission, Alco Transmission, the 1st Amendment stores and Will’s Wheels. Will enjoyed riding his motorcycle and going to events throughout the country where, with his outgoing personality, met and befriended many people with whom he kept in touch throughout the years. Will is predeceased by his father, Carvel Stuart, mother Frances Basco and stepmother Marguerite Stuart, and several aunts and uncles. Will is survived by his loving wife and partner, Debra L. Stuart of 28 years. They were married in Farmingdale, Maine on July 15, 2017. Will is lovingly remembered by his son, Willard H. Stuart Jr. of Chelsea, Maine, his daughters, Cheryl A. Stuart of Westbrook, Maine, Jennifer L. Sorrell, of Newark, Delaware and Terry Swieneicki of Augusta, Maine, and two step children, Christopher M. Breton of Searsmont Maine and Carissa Breton of Waterville Maine, five grandchildren, Ethan Bernier, Krista M Saucier, Jeremy Swieneicki, Ashley Stuart, Gentry Stuart, Kaden Perry and Khaleesi Breton, and three great grandchildren, Adrien, Alejandro and Antonio, and his brother Nelson "Pappy" Michaud. The Celebration of Life will be held at his home at, 13 Stuart Ln., Farmingdale Maine on October 7, 2017 at 2:00 PM.
