Buzz and I will always remember our first encounter with Valdemar. We were vacationing in Belfast one summer. On our way to enjoy a cocktail and view the sunset we came upon a strange sight. A storefront containing two vintage motorcycles in the window. With the door wide open, the sounds of classical music playing, and, a rather foreboding presence of a man we entered the shop. Inside we found a long counter along with a wooden stool upon which lay a bathroom sink perched upside down. We were intrigued. Buzz, ever the humorist, asks the very large man with the wild hair if he knew where one could find a shop that only sold a vintage Norton, an Italian Mot Guzzi, and, a bathroom sink. My first thought was that we would be physically removed from the premises by this massive figure but instead he let out a laugh. That was you, our dear friend. Thus began our friendship. A reuniting of old friends who had lived before, known one another before. Let the sun shine on your Soul, let the wind breath new life into you now. We'll meet again.
