Obituary of Faye Virginia Tarr
LISBON FALLS – Faye V. Tarr, 83, went home to be with the Lord on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 14, 2017 at the Russell Park Manor. She was born in Sabattus Nov. 6, 1933, the daughter of Edward I. & Florence Smith Gayton. She attended local schools in Sabattus and in 1951 married Gerald Tarr of Lisbon Falls, the love of her life.
Her hobbies were knitting and quilting, keeping in touch with family and friends, and camping at the Birches in Litchfield.
She was predeceased by her husband Gerald in 2004, great-grandson Gabriel, and by 15 siblings. She is survived by her two children: Darlene Tarr and Gerald “Jerry” Tarr, Jr. and his wife Sherry, all of Libson Falls; sisters: Sharon Lewellyn of Florida, Sheila Lavallee of Lisbon Falls; brothers: John Gayton of Sabattus, Donald Gayton of Connecticut; grandchildren: Ben, Ashley and husband Dan, and Kim; great-grandchildren: Ariana, Kayla, Kassidy, Landon, Ben, and Liam.
