Obituary of Frances E Dubay
Presque Isle and Ashland - Frances E. (Fisher) Dubay, 82, passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours of April 25, 2017. She was born in Fort Fairfield on Dec. 1, 1934, the daughter of Israel and Gertrude (Chambers) Fisher. In 1954 she married Edward J. Dubay and they enjoyed over 40 years of marriage and together they raised six children.
She was predeceased by her husband in 1995 and three of her children: Edward Jr. (Joey) and Albert in 1972 and Richard in 2003. She was also predeceased by her sister Clara and brothers Darrill, Harold, Les (Junior) and infant brother Zedric.
She is survived by her two sons: Thomas of New Hampshire and Robert of Presque Isle; her daughter Rose Chambers and her husband Randy of Ashland; one granddaughter Elizabeth Dubay and great-grandson Ayden Anthony Dubay of New Hampshire; her brothers Stanley of Ashland, Robert of Smyrna and sisters Edith of Hartland and Pauline of Kansas. Also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She will also be fondly missed by all the caregivers at Leisure Village where she had made her home for the past 3 years. A celebration of Frannie’s life will take place on May 13, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall, 64 Jamison Rd., Presque Isle, with a small reception to follow the service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made for the Activities at Leisure Gardens/Village, 6 Dewberry Drive, Presque Isle, Maine 04769 in c/o Tina Ruest.
