Obituary of Horace Marshall

Holden and Ludlow - Horace Marshall Sr., 85, of Holden and Ludlow, passed away Jan. 21, 2017, at his home surrounded by family and friends. He was born on July 30, 1931, to Olga and Guy Marshall of Cary, Maine. Horace lived most of his life in Ludlow where he went to grade school and then graduated from Houlton High school. He spent time in the National Guard before joining the Army and spending two years in Germany. He married his wife Sandra (Brown) Marshall in 1959 and had 3 children, Horace Jr., Kim and Paul. Horace had many passions, hunting, fishing and gardening, anything that would allow him to enjoy being close to nature. Horace is survived by his wife, sons, daughter, two grandchildren and one sister. He was predeceased by his parents, two sisters and one brother. There will be no funeral services or visitation, as this was his wish. Donations in his honor can be made to the American Cancer Association.
