Obituary of Marion O Wereley

CAMDEN - Marion Otilia Seekins Wereley, 91, died Wednesday January 4, 2017 in Rockland. She was born on September 22, 1925, in Lincoln, Mass. to Lester W. and Martha A. (Johansen) Seekins. She was well-known for her teachings of Hatha Yoga over more than 30 years in New York and Maine. She moved to Maine in 1985. Her interests were many: knitting and crocheting for friends and family, working at the Camden Public Library, singing throughout the years for many groups and churches in New York and Maine, and she was an accomplished artist. Marion also spent many happy days doing line dancing throughout Maine. She was predeceased by her son, David LeBlanc, her grandparents Annie O. and John Johansen of Lincoln, Mass., sister Frances Carlson of Texas, brother Theodore B. Seekins of Waltham, Mass., and grandson Curtis LeBlanc. She is survived by her son Richard LeBlanc of Oakland, CA and also leaves behind three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
