Obituary of Donald Maynard Drost

Donald M. Drost Sr., 83, of Woodland, passed away October 7, 2016 at the Maine Veteran's Home in Caribou. He was born on April 18, 1933 in Caribou, the son of John Wesley And Virginia (Little) Drost. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Donald married the love of his life Faye R. Knowlton on June 22, 1966 and settled in Woodland, Maine where they raised their family. Donald is survived by his wife Faye, his daughter Peggy Beaulieu, son Donald Jr, daughter-in-law Pamela, grandchildren Tyler and Trevor Beaulieu, Timothy and Heather Drost; several brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews and his faithful companion Chippy. He was predeceased by his parents, daughter Tiffany and son-in-law Joseph Beaulieu. A private interment will be held at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of the Maine Veteran's Home in Caribou.
