Obituary of James Francis Coffey

WASHINGTON- James Francis Coffey, 72, passed away on August 3, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer in Rockport, Maine. He is predeceased by his loving wife Patricia who bravely lost her battle with cancer in December. Jim is the son of James and Patricia Coffey, and brother of John Coffey, all of whom predeceased him. He is survived by his sister Patricia Morris of Florida and brother William, with wife Mary, also of Florida. He was an amazing dad to his son Joshua with wife Carol, and daughter Meeghan with husband Jim. He was also a terrific stepdad to Brian Barnosky with wife Sandra and Steven Barnosky with wife Katie. Jim was the best grandfather, who loved spending time with his eight grandchildren: Kevin, Alexander, Brandon, Ryan, Michael, Ryan, Addison and Peyton. He was also a special uncle to many nieces and nephews. In addition to spending time with his family, he loved being in the home he built in Maine, fishing, art, and classic cars. He loved his friends and lived life to the fullest.
