Obituary of Jane H Weaver

Jane H. Weaver, 63, of Camden, passed away on August 11, 2016. Jane was born in Camden on April 3, 1953, the daughter of Colleen B. (Frye) and Wellington J. Roberts. As a young girl, Jane was the Rainbow Girl of Stoneham, MA. She remained in the Massachusetts and New Hampshire area during the 1970s as an EKG Tech, before returning to Maine. Jane worked as a bus driver and transportation coordinator for the MSAD #28 school district from the late 70s until she retired in 2003. Jane was predeceased by her parents, James and Colleen. She leaves behind her children: Julie Weaver of Hope and John Weaver of Camden; grandson Matthew D. Weaver of Hope; her ex-husband and lifelong friend, Ron Weaver of Camden; sister Linda Nickerson and husband Richie; nephews: James Nickerson and his family, of Methuen, MA and William Nickerson of Lincolnville; her aunt, Jean Jones of Owls Head; and countless other friends whose lives she touched. A Celebration of Life will be held for Jane on Saturday, August 27, 2016, from 12-4:00pm at the Masonic Hall in Rockport. At the family’s request, donations may be made in Jane’s name toward her final expenses. Arrangements are under the care of Direct Cremation of Maine, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast.
