Obituary of Robert Morrison

Robert "Bobby" J. Morrison, Sr., 61, passed away Thursday June 2nd, at his home in Belfast. Born in Bangor and raised in Bucksport, Bobby was the son of Daniel and Josephine Morrison; brother to Daniel, Roger, Tommy and Timothy Morrison, Elizabeth Knox, Sally Newton, and Linda Simpson. In the mid-70's, Bobby moved to Belfast and worked at Maplewoods, where he first met his wife Carolyn. Over the years, he worked at Penobscot Frozen Foods, Consumer's Fuel, and for the City of Belfast. Ultimately, he was best known for his work as an independent landscaper and was frequently seen riding through Belfast on his lawn mower. He loved working outside, especially with grass, rock, dirt and wood, and spent most of his personal time working on his home garden. Bobby was survived by his wife Carolyn, their children Robert Morrison, Jr and Jessamy Field; his beloved grandchildren: Rebecca, Alyssa and Alyson Field; many nieces and nephews and his cats, all of whom he loved dearly. A small gathering will be held at the family residence on Saturday June 4th from 12-2pm.
