Obituary of Margie Dillon Grover

Margie Dillon Grover, 88, of Searsmont, went home to be with the Lord on January 17, 2016, at her home in Searsmont. Margie was a member of Truth Baptist Church in Jefferson. She was born June 14, 1927, in Plymouth, North Carolina, the daughter of Martie (Sawyer) Dillon and James Abner Dillon. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank. She is survived by four children: Gary and his wife Penny of Town Hill, David and his wife Lois of Searsmont, Tricia and her husband, John of Franklin, and Carol and her husband Bill of Searsmont; 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Also, she was survived by her “sister” Elsie Greer of Virginia Beach, Virginia. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved her Lord. A celebration of her life will be held 2 p.m. January 20th at Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast with Pastor Joshua Lovelace officiating. The family requests that no flowers be sent to the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Truth Baptist Church, 154 Augusta Road, Jefferson, ME 04348.
