Obituary of Beverly E Bradeen
Beverly Edna Hanscom Harmon Bradeen, age 87, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2016 to be with the Lord in Heaven. Born October 1, 1928, to her mother Elizabeth G. Hall, father George Harmon, and biological father Richard Hanscom. Beverly raised a family of 5 children with her late husband Clayton E. Bradeen in Standish, ME. A devoted wife and mother, Beverly was beloved by all who met her. She saw the good in every person, even if they couldn't see it in themselves. Beverly was a very spiritual and sassy woman, spending many hours at her church, Sebago Lake Congregational, volunteering as a ladies aide. Her many activities included crocheting, various crafts, and her favorite hobby was spending many hours putting puzzles together.
Beverly is survived by a sister, Gertrude A. LaPierre, and a brother, Alfred J. Harmon. She also is survived by her 5 children: Allen E. Bradeen, Anita F. Metcalf, Gordon T. Bradeen, Mark T. Bradeen, and Peggy A. Bradeen. Beverly's extensive family includes 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org) in memory of Beverly.
A graveside service will be held on May 1st, 2016 at 10:00am at Dow Cemetery in Standish.
