Obituary of Barbara J Kenney

BARBARA J. KENNEY, 65 of Bangor, passed away suddenly on January 27, 2016 at EMMC in Bangor. She was the daughter of Thomas L. Kenney, Sr. and Edna (Riley) Kenney. Barbara lived and worked in the Belfast and Searsport areas as a waitress for many years and had worked at MBNA before moving to the Bangor area. She was an animal lover, particularly dachshunds and had a special one, Dapple Dan, for many years. She loved spending time with her family and friends and would do anything to help them. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her infant son, Christopher; two brothers, Thomas L. Kenney, Jr. and John A. Kenney. Barbara is survived by her sisters, Joyce Page and husband Martin, Patricia Jackson and husband Bernard, Linda Clifford and husband John, Nancy Harris and husband Keith, Deborah Ellis and husband Bruce and a brother Jeffrey Kenney and wife Cara. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Becky Kenney and Debbie Kenney as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be lovingly remembered by special friends, Vicky Austin and Barbara Norwood. A graveside service at Smart Cemetery will be announced in the spring.
