Obituary of Nancy Morse Benner

Nancy Morse Benner, 80, of Port Clyde, passed away at Woodlands of Maine in Rockland on February 25, 2016, with her family by her side. Nancy was born in Friendship to John C. and Elvie A. (Hyler) Morse on October 12, 1935, one of six children. Nancy graduated from St. George High School and soon after married Raymond Benner. They then moved to Port Clyde where they raised their family and resided their entire married life. Nancy was predeceased by her parents and grandson Jamie Ross. She leaves behind her husband, Raymond and her children: Kelly Benner, Scott Benner, Steve Benner and his wife Lori, Jill Boggs and her husband Lanny, all of Warren, her siblings: John Morse, Betty Yovino, Carol Curtis and her husband Wayne, Marla McCabe and her husband Arthur and Jennifer Morse; seven grandchildren: Craig, Dustin, Ashley, Chelsey, Jesse, Jacob and Caitlin; and ten great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of Direct Cremation of Maine, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast.
