Obituary of Charles Kenneth Dow

Charles Kenneth Dow of Knox, Maine, age 92, died in his home Monday, March 21, 2016. Charles was born and raised in Milbridge, Maine. He married Alice Pearl (James) Dow and they lived with their family in Massachusetts but spent their retirement years in a home he built in Knox, Maine. Charles was the father of seven daughters. One daughter, Charlotte Lewis, predeceased him. He is survived by his loving wife, Alice and they would have celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary March 24th; daughters Sandra Turnbull of Maine, Linda Lafond of New Jersey, Diane Abbott of Maine, Bonnie Bailey of Massachusetts, Darlene DeSilva of New Hampshire, and Laureen Hope of Maine. He also leaves behind many grand, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren. His family will dearly miss him. Services will be held at 11am on Saturday April 9, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 297 Belmont Ave. Belfast, ME. Interment will be held in the spring at East Knox Cemetery.
