Obituary of Susan Jane Delano

Susan Jane Delano, 65, of Swanville, passed away unexpectedly on March 28, 2016. She was born in Belfast on January 12, 1951 to John and Louise (Keene) Brown. Susan loved to read and do crafts and liked to go camping in her earlier years. She worked at Waldo County General Hospital for over 30 years. She loved living a simple life with lots of family around her. Susan was predeceased by her parents. She leaves behind her children: Melissa Tripp of Monroe and Jennifer Lane with husband Stephen of Swanville; her siblings: Steven Brown, Judy Lewis with husband Dana, all of Belfast, Frederick Barlow of Monroe, Nancy Barlow of Lincolnville, Timothy Barlow of Portland; grandchildren: Joseph and Derek Tripp and Jonathan and Kyle Lane; 2 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A service will be held at a later date in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Susan's name to Diabetes Education at Waldo County General Hospital.
