Obituary of Harold Cutting Bertrand

Harold Cutting Bertrand, 72, of West Bath, Maine, passed away on April 25, 2024, at his residence. He was born November 24, 1951, in Bath, Maine to Francis and Martha (Cutting) Bertrand.

Harold worked at BIW for 49 years and was part of the National Guard for 10 years. For twenty years, he was a member of the NAVHDA organization with hunting dogs. Harold was an avid lobster fisher all of his life and also loved tuna fishing for fun. He enjoyed racing his motorcycles and boats. Harold was a generous person who was always there in a time of need for family and friends. During his free time, he enjoyed spending time with dogs Jenna and Ruddah. 

Harold is predeceased by his parents Francis and Martha Bertrand. He is survived by his wife Diane Bertrand of West Bath; his children Shelby Bertrand of West Bath and Jared Bertrand of Bath; sister Betsy Bisson of Woolwich; brother Dean Bertrand of Brunswick; brother-in-law Paul Breton of Bath; and grandchildren Joey Dauphin, Colby Dauphin, Liam Bertrand and Zander Bertrand. 

A service will be held at Bath Area Senior Citizens Activity Center on May 26, 2024, at 2pm - 5pm.
