    Clinton - Lena Marion O'Neal Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 16 2026.


     Born to Herbert M. French  and Marion (Brown) French in Oakland Maine on November 6th 1940. She went to school in Oakland where she graduated highschool. She Married John Lawrence and had 3 boys - Mike, Gary, and Richard.


      Lena worked at Dimond Match Co. In Oakland where after getting divorced she met the love of her life Wayman O'Neal. They were married 56 Years. She then worked at Keyes Fiber Co. for over 20 years.


    She loved camping, fishing, boating. They traveled to Florida every winter for over 20 years. They loved to travel and took many trips with her brother and sister in law Albert and Eva French who they were very close to. They loved going to the Second Baptist church in Waterville where  they attended from 1984.


     In addition to her parents, Lena was predeceased by her husband Wayman O'Neal, step daughters  Josephine Salsbury, Shirley Caron. First husband John Lawrence. sister Sally French (Page) and husband Al Page. Brothers Bruce French and Albert French. Lena is survived by sons Michael Lawrence and Kim Shores (Fiance) and Richard and Rosanna Lawrence. Brother Frederick French, Sister Jannie, SIster in Law Eva French and many niece's and newphews step son's and stepdaughters.
