Pamela Jane (Alexander) Stone

BELGRADE – It is with great sadness that the family of Pamela Jane (formerly Alexander) Stone, 70, announces her passing on June 13, 2026, at MaineGeneral Medical Center, with her family and best friend by her side. Pam was born in Waterville on January 2, 1956, the daughter of David and Betty Stone. Pam was a beloved sister, mother, and grandmother. She will forever be missed. She will always be remembered for her love of family, laughter, knack for interior decorating, shopping (aka “shmy-ing”), and luncheons with her sisters and friends.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents and her son, Damon Alexander. Pam is survived by her son, Jeremy Alexander and his wife, Jen; granddaughters, Logan Alexander and Payton Alexander; siblings, Peter Stone and his wife, Patty, Carol Thomas and her husband, Paul, Mark Stone and his wife, Gail, Matthew Stone and his wife, Mary, Diana Stevens and her husband, Randy, and Joyce Towers and her husband, Will; a special cousin, Theresa Benn and her husband, Richard; and many nieces and nephews. The family extends a special thank you to her lifelong friend and caregiver, Cindy Clapperton.

The family will hold a graveside service at 10 a.m. on June 27, 2026, at Pine Grove Cemetery in Belgrade. A celebration of life will follow at the North Belgrade Community
Center.
