Thurlow E. Jackson Jr.

April 20, 1942-March 29, 2026

Thurlow E. Jackson Jr., 83 of South China, Maine passed away peacefully on  Sunday March 29, 2026 at Togus VA Hospice Unit in Chelsea Maine.

He was born in Freeport Maine on April 20, 1942, the son of Thurlow E. Jackson Sr. and Muriel Cunningham.

Thurlow served in the military from 1960-1969 in the Navy CB. After his service he spent many years driving truck for himself or other places such as Williams, Oakhurst Dairy and AG of Maine.

He enjoyed spending time at his camp in Rockwood Maine hunting and fishing spending time with his partner. He especially enjoyed hanging out with his friends working at the Windsor Fair and doing whatever he could to help his kids. His greatest memory was his 48 year marriage to his wife Sheila Jackson who passed away in 2013 who he loved and missed everyday.

He is survived by his sister Shirley Chaffee, children Kim M. Jackson, Jeffrey W. Jackson, Amanda Stover. Grandchildren Alice M. Rinier, Troy M. Rinier, Dustin W. Jackson and Kain W. Stover. Special friend Kim Humphrey, as well as countless cousins and friends.

He will be loved and missed more and more everyday.

A celebration of life to be announced at a later date.  Memories and condolences may be shared with his family on his tribute wall.
