Arthur Leo Tisbert III, 72, passed away at the Maine Veterans Home in Augusta after a 2-year battle with cancer.  He was born in Lawrence, MA to Arthur and Bertha Tisbert.

Arthur served in the United States Air Force and then became a building contractor until he semi-retired in 2020.  After retirement, he fulfilled a lifelong dream and built a log cabin where he and his wife spent a great deal of time relaxing.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outside.

Arthur was predeceased by his parents, his beloved daughter Lauren, and by two of his sisters.  He is survived by his wife Vickey; his son Matthew and his wife Meredith and their three children; his stepson Nathan and his partner Dana and their two children; and by three of his sisters along with their spouses.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery.  Donations in his honor may be made to the Maine Veterans Home, 35 Heroes Way, Augusta Me 04330.  Memories and condolences may be shared with his family on his tribute wall.
