James D. Hayes, 74, of Windsor, Maine, formerly of Chelsea, Maine passed away on December 4, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving partner Linda and by his brother Tommy and his sister-in-law Dee Dee.

James was born in Gardiner, Maine to Calvin and  Lillian (Theriault) Hayes on June 6, 1951. He worked the last 20 or so years as a truck driver.  He enjoyed the stockcar racing attending several tracks and making many long term friends over the years.

James is survived by his partner, Linda J Peaslee, of Windsor; his step-son, Ramsey Stickney (Heidi) of Chelsea; his grandson, Forrest Stickney; his sister, Sandy Trull (Gerry) of MA, his brothers, Thomas Hayes (Dee Dee) of FL and George Hayes of NC, his cousin, Louie Bourgeois (Kathy) of Winslow and many nieces and nephews & great nieces and nephews.

Per James' request, there will bo no services. Memories and condolences may be shared with this family on his tribute wall.
