Julie Ann Ramsey, 82 was born to Howard and Myrtle Allen in Anderson, Indiana. She graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis and worked for American Friends Service Committee in Ohio for over 20 years. She then worked as a department manager at a large bank there. When she retired, she moved from Ohio to Maine to live with her sister Deanna and husband Bob Wayman where she also served as a secretary at Bath UM Church for many years.
She was predeceased by her parents, and by her brothers Eugene and Robert Allen and sister Carolyn as well as by Julie's son, Paul Ramsey.
She is survived by her children, Michael Ramsey and Wendy Reyes, her three grandchildren, Ramon Reyes III, Wendy Reyes and Jacob Reyes and one great-daughter, Olivia Reyes. Julie was an avid reader and could be found with her Kindle and a cup of coffee at her favorite breakfast place. She loved walking, nature and herons. She loved basketball and listening to her preferred music of rock and roll, and practicing tai chi and yoga.
Julie passed on November 30th, 2025. A remembrance service will be held on January 10th at 10:00 a.m. at Bath U.M. Church, 340 Oak Grove Ave. Bath, Maine.
