Our beautiful mother, Mary Margo Allen passed away on November 14, 2025. She was surrounded by her loving children, family and friends. Margo was born October 30, 1953 in Waterville, Maine, the daughter of Beverly Bragdon and James A. Allen. 

She is survived by her daughter Brandie M. Hallee (David Roy), sons Nathaniel R. Hallee (Kerry) and Benjamin J. Davis, grandchildren Kingston, Liam and Sophie, and her brother James K. Allen.

Margo had a successful and diverse career in nursing.  This included multiple hospitals in Maine, travel nursing across the country, and ten years with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA. Most recently she provided private nursing in the communities around China, where she has resided for the past twelve years.

She had many proud moments and accomplishments throughout life, but her three children and grandchildren were her greatest. She was a mother of great strengths, who always put her children and others before herself.  We will miss her gift of gab, stories of her dance outings with close friends, and her constant support in our lives.

Each day since our mother’s passing has been an amazing journey of learning just how many friends, acquaintances and colleagues she has impacted throughout her life.  We are overwhelmingly touched by the outpouring from those who respected, admired and loved her.

This is not goodbye forever mom, because we know you will be there waiting for us. In the meantime, we will do our best to make you proud, because after all, we are a reflection of your love.
