DAVID ARTHUR SMOULCEY passed away peacefully on Monday, October 20, after a brief illness.
Dave was born in Utica, New Your on June 1st, 1954 to to Howard and Irene (Belowich) Smoulcey. Dave’s vocation was as a stone and brick restoration specialist and as a weatherization specialist.He is survived by his wife, Becky Eldridge of Norridgewock, his sister Barbara Longo and husband Bryant of Indiana, two sons, Jason and Jonathan Smoulcey of New York, brother in law Joel Ferris of Kennebunkport; niece-in-law Julie Smith and husband Bobby, several nieces and nephews. A lover of animals, Dave spent many hours enjoying the antics of the animals. He was always saying “and that’s why we call it the ‘Merry’ Farm”.
Dave enjoyed socializing at the South Side Tavern in Skowhegan. Friends and family members are invited to a gathering to pay tribute to Dave on November 15, from noon to 2:00 at South Side Tavern in Skowhegan.
