Harry Searle Reed Sr., 64, of Oxford, Maine, died peacefully at home after a long illness.

Harry graduated high school in 1979. He worked at several jobs throughout his life but enjoyed his time working in his garage most of all; he loved anything related to auto mechanics. Harry enjoyed time on his motorcycle and spending time with family and friends.

Harry is survived by his long-time partner and best friend, Leila, and her children, Larry, Robert, Jacob, and Schona.

He is also survived by his daughter, Daisy Reed of Waterville; his son, Harry Reed Jr. of Waterville; Michael Harris of Auburn; and his granddaughter, Ava, and many more family members, too numerous to list.

He was predeceased by his grandmother, Daisy Alzena Reed of Rumford; his mother, Suzanne Doyon of Auburn; his stepfather, Leo Doyon of Auburn; his father, Eugene Reed of Arundel; his stepmother, Thelma Reed of Arundel; his brother, Eugene Reed of Rumford; and his sister, Rebecca Harris of Auburn.

A Celebration of Life will follow at a later date.
