Barry Douglas Schmieks Sr.

74, Of NewGloucester, passed away on July 4th, 2025 in Auburn Maine.

Barry was born on November 12th,1950 in Lewiston Maine. To Iza and Michael Schmieks. He grew up in auburn and attended local schools. Barry worked many years for Agway and Murray oil.

In 1970 he married the love of his life Theresa (Jane). His proudest accomplishments are his children and grandchildren. He loved his family with all his heart.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa. His son Barry Jr. and wife Marjorie. His daughter Kristina, Grandchildren Karah, Isaiah, and Micah. His brother Michael and Sister Sheila.

He was pre-deceased by his mom and dad, brother Wayne, and sister Joyce.
