Almedia Elizabeth Moshier Dudley, loving known as Mitzi, of Benton, the third daughter of Wallace and Victoria (Nutt) Moshier born on August 13, 1934, passed peacefully on June 8, 2025 surrounded by loving family at Lakewood Nursing Home. Mom called Lakewood her home for the last 5 years where she made many friends and was quick to welcome each new resident to her neighborhood. The staff cheerfully called Mitzi the Official Welcome Lady of Memory Lane.
Mitzi started her working life at a young age scooping ice cream at the Fairfield Creamery while still in high school and wore many hats throughout her working career which included Hathaway Shirt Factory, Lipman Hatchery, The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and Northeast Shoe from where she retired due to ill health. She was proud to finish her education while working and raising her family. She received her GED in 1975. She was a Cub Scout Leader & Sunday School teacher while her children were young, a member of Eastern Star, the East Benton Quilting Club, and a very active member and supporter of the local VFW 7925 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed family time and made a delicious Christmas sugar cookie (the secret ingredient being a splash of orange juice). Mom was always up to a challenging game of Skip-Bo or UNO with family and friends and took great joy in the win. At Lakewood she especially looked forward to Bingo day.
She is survived by her children, Kathe Bolster, Kenneth Dudley Jr (Jillian), Karen Robbins (Chester), grandchildren Larry Bolster II (Meridith), Angela Bolster (Heath), Lauren Goodwin (Nathaniel), Chadwick Robbins, one special great granddaughter Madison Bolster, a special sister-in-law Joyce McElravy and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her parents, siblings Louise Poulin, Hazel Spencer, John Moshier, Ethel Kron, and Olive Dostie, son-in-law Larry Bolster, her ex-husband, the father of her children, and lifelong friend Kenneth Dudley Sr, and her BFF Idelle Oliver Luce.
Thanks to the staff at Lakewood for making Mom feel she was a part of the Lakewood family and a special thanks to Lynn with Hospice who helped Mom enjoy time in the sun.
There will be no funeral service per her request.
